Welcome to Script Reading on the Blog. This is the place to come if you need feedback on your script.

I have been screenwriting for many years and have been shortlisted for the Red Planet Prize twice, won the Sir Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Award and have my first film in development with Viva Films. Today I get feedback from my workshop group. However, this is not available for many writers. But it's also not viable to regularly pay the large fees charged by the majority of feedback services. My aim is to redress that and help writers develop their work to a higher standard. I have been reading scripts for a long time, for both individuals and companies including Marchmont Films, CinemaNX, Shoestring Productions, Tiger Aspect Productions, Catherine Bailey Ltd and serving on the International Emmy jury for the Sir Peter Ustinov Award. I also now project scout for Viva Films.

So here's a breakdown of what's now on offer from Script Reading on the Blog:

Scripts over 70 pages = £44 (over 120 pages will be £49.50)
Film or TV Scripts up to 70 mins = £38.50
Script extracts, for example first 10 pages = £16.50
Short Film scripts up to 15 mins = £16.50
Proofreading (spellings, typos and script format) = £22

The report will focus on development notes; what's working, what's not, and a look at story concept, genre, theme, plot structure, characters, visuals and dialogue.
